Once in Maryport:

The museum is on the Sea Brows at the north end of town. There is ample free parking. Small brown signs bearing a roman helmet have been put up to help you find the way.

From the junction of the main roads by the Parish Church, head west along Wood Street. Take the second right turn into Crosby Street. Head north and up hill into Fleming Square (obelisk and cobbles). Exit Fleming Square heading north on Camp Street. Turn left into Ingleby Terrace and right along the Promenade (Sea Brows).

From the harbour area, the museum is visible at the north end of the row of buildings on the cliff top. It is a 15 minute walk, and there are a variety of possible routes. To reach Fleming Square by car from the harbour area, head back into town along Senhouse Street. Turn left up High Street and continue to the top of the street. Turn right into Fleming Square.
